Bonnie Hill Obituary

Bonnie Hill, 74, of Griffith, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord on February 1, 2026, at Methodist Hospital in Merrillville, Indiana.

Born on December 24, 1951, to Merl and Gloria Morrow, Bonnie lived a life centered on faith, family, and loving children. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth touched countless lives.

Bonnie owned and operated her own daycare for many years, where she lovingly cared for generations of children. Over her lifetime, she also opened her heart and home to many foster children, giving them stability, compassion, and care. Her love for children extended into her church community, where she faithfully served as the head of the Awana Cubbies program at Griffith Baptist Church in the late 1990s. She also volunteered at countless Griffith Baptist Church and Calumet Baptist School events, always willing to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed.

A saved believer who loved the Lord deeply, Bonnie was a dedicated member of Griffith Baptist Church in Griffith, Indiana. Her faith guided her life and was evident in her kindness, generosity, and servant’s heart.

Bonnie found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved butterflies, music, and especially children. She enjoyed relaxing while watching her grandchildren play, and you could often find her watching the Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune, or movies on the Hallmark Channel. Her greatest joy, however, was her family.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Eddie Hill; her brothers, Doug and Robert Morrow; her sister, Cathy Neal; her children, Craig (Stefani) Hill, Jennifer (Steve) Singh, Aaron Hill, Charles Hill, and Joseph Hill; her grandchildren, Meleah, Meagan, Tomi Ann, Kailey, Trinity, Brielle, Anyssa, Jasmin, and Steven III; and her great-grandchildren, Milan, Miller, Marlow, Saint, Dior, Aiden, Isaac, Joel, Isaiah, Lorenzo, and Oaklynn.

She also leaves behind her dear best friend, Betty Fry, and Betty’s beloved puppy, Coco, whom she loved dearly.

Bonnie’s legacy of faith, love, and devotion to children will live on through the many lives she nurtured and the family she cherished so deeply.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, with a memorial visitation from 2:00 PM until the time of service at 6:00 PM, at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 8580 Wicker Ave in Saint John, Indiana.

She will be deeply missed, but her family rejoices in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of her Savior.
