Betty Rose (Huber) Paulson

Betty Rose Paulson, age 98, of St. John, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026. She is survived by her sons Edward Paulson, Mark (Andrea) Paulson, Craig (Susan) Paulson, and Richard (Sue) Paulson; grandchildren Jaime (David) Keene, Melanie (Dereck) Qualls, Haley (Jesse) Oakes, Steven (Kaitlyn) Paulson, Richard Paulson, and Daniel Paulson; great grandchildren Madison, Connor, Brody, Grace, Liam, Kolton, and Elaina. She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard Paulson.

Visitation will be held at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 8580 Wicker Ave in St. John, on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 3:00 – 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held directly at St. Joseph Church, 440 Joliet Street in Dyer, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville.

Betty was born in East Chicago; she became a registered nurse at St. Catherine’s Hospital and was a member of St. Joseph Church in Dyer. However, her true joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
