Theresa Ann Perusich Wednesday, April 3, 1940 - Monday, March 27, 2017

Theresa A. Perusich, age 76, of Kenosha, WI (formerly of Crown Point, IN) passed away on March 27, 2017. She is survived by her son Don (Susan) of Kenosha, WI; her daughter Dawn (Jerome) Kusbel of St. John; and four grandchildren, Lindsay, Carter, Mackenzie and Josephine. Theresa was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald. Theresa was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Pleasant Prairie, WI and a former member of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church in Merrillville, IN. She was an employee of the Superior Petroleum in Crown Point for over 20 years before retiring and relocating to Kenosha in 2009 to watch her granddaughter Josephine. Theresa, “Nana” as she was affectionately called, loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time together with them. She took pleasure in going out to dinner and watching movies. She was an avid bowler and a Red Hat Society member. She enjoyed baking and made several wedding cakes for relatives in her earlier years. Nana is best remembered for making people smile and laugh. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 1st DIRECTLY at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 8303 Taft St., Merrillville, IN, with visiting from 9:30 am until the time of service at 10 am. Burial at Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Schererville. Visitation will be Friday, March 31st from 2-8 pm at Fagen-Miller Funeral Homes, 8580 Wicker Avenue, St. John, IN.

dawn - i'm so sorry to hear about your mom. i remember lots of fun times over at your house in high school and hanging out with both your parents. praying for your family and hoping you get to celebrate the life of your mom this weekend with smiles and through tears as you look back on sweet memories and knowing the legacy she leaves! love and miss you friend!

We have such fond memories of Nana's face light up around Carter and Josie. Whether it was a baseball game or dance recital, she was there with her bright smile! The kids have an extra special angel watching over them...

I remember meeting your Mom & Nana yrs ago @ Barbara & Marvin's home. She was a lovely & fun loving lady. My heartfelt condolences to you.
