Judeen Peifer

Judeen K Peifer, age 75, of Schererville, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016 surrounded by her family with love. She is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Ronald Peifer; her loving daughters: Denise (Robert) Jansen, Diane Peifer, and Lisa (Joseph) Adams; her adoring grandchildren: Patrick Jansen and Meghan and Matthew Adams; brother Richard (Patricia) Thiel, sister Suellen (Philip) Braun and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Rosalie Thiel and 6 siblings. A memorial visitation will be held DIRECTLY at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 8303 Taft St , in Merrillville on Monday, April 18, 2016 from 9 am until the time of mass at 11 am with Rev. Peter Muha officiating. Judeen was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Parish and enjoyed baking, gardening, and various crafts. She especially enjoyed weekend trips to Pokagon State Park and celebrating Thanksgiving at Potato Creek State Park ; however, her true passion was experiencing joy through her grandchildren's varied activities.
